I lived in the UK for 2 years, and it was hard to find a day that I considered the weather completely terrible. In fact, I found most days to be wonderful for photography. Then again, I'm from Kansas (USA) where our weather tolerance has to be some of the best in the world, one of the few places that you can feel the weather of all 4 seasons in one day at times, so my opinion of weather may be lenient compared to most. :D

If I was a photographer I'd hate to be outside when it's pouring down with rain lol. And you have a lot of interesting experiences around the world with weather :D

This is a really wonderful photo! I'm not a photographer but the only thing I notice (from a general art standpoint) is the color pink tends to really pop in the bottom left hand corner and in the people's skin, so instead of having a composition that leads your eye around the canvas, you're kind of drawn to the bottom left hand corner and your eye kind of stays there. I'm not sure if you can, but I'd de-saturate some of the pinks in the bottom and left hand corner because it's detracting from your composition and the focal point of the fountain. That bright white and sharp definition of that fountain bouncing off those warm reds you've pulled out of the granite fountain is just stunning, I think you'd want to really bring focus to it!
Also, the textures on the buildings are simply amazing. I love that aged look that they seem to have. And the retouches on the sky are beautiful!

Thanks a lot! One of the things I've been really trying to experiment with is selective coloring in photoshop. It's easy for it to have a huge effect with black and white photos, but it's much harder to manage in photos that are still colored. I see exactly what you mean, though. While from afar, it doesn't matter a whole lot, zooming in, there are a few bad color inconsistencies in this photo. And, if I can get better at zoning in on specific colors and areas of color, I think my photos will get better. Not many good tutorials about it out there, right now. But, I think I'll get better with practice anyway. Some think I over process my photos, and that may be true, but I'd really like to get better at crossing the boundaries between photo and painting/illustation. I like to take places I've seen, and make them look dreamlike. I don't know, like everyone, I need and will get better, but hopefully I'm heading in the right direction with it. wow...just wow!

If you retouched the sky and the light off the fountain you did a fantastic job.

I am a huge fan of sky shots, and sunlight on water. so you really caught my eye with this one.
